Legal Notices

All legal notices are published in the Waukesha Freeman and posted at the Genesee Town Hall in Genesee Depot, Citizens Bank Genesee Branch on HWY 59 and 83, and the Genesee Depot post office in Genesee Depot.

  

Voting

Voting for all wards is held at the Genesee Town Hall.  Registration can be done at the polling place or in the Genesee Town Office.  Proof of residency must be provided to register.

 

Trick or Treat

In Genesee Trick or Treat is always the 4th Sunday in October from 4pm to 7pm. 

 

Building Permits

For all building, remodeling, & construction projects contact the Town of Genesee-Building Inspector.

Tax Payments

Tax Payments will be collected at Citizens Bank (Genesee Branch) on behalf of the town. Checks will be made payable to Town Of Genesee. Citizens Bank is located at W307S4829 State Road 83, Mukwonago, WI 53149.

Any person planning to excavate should contact Digger’s Hotline 72 hours before digging and the location of underground cables in the area will be provided free of charge.

 

Dog Licenses

*License year begins January 1.

*All dogs 5 months or older must be licensed by March 31 of each year to avoid a $5.00 late penalty. 

*Evidence that the dog is currently immunized against rabies must be presented before a license can be issued. 

*Applications are available at the Town of Genesee, Town Hall.

*Dog License Fees:

            Neutered Male: $12.00                      Unneutered Male:  $17.00

            Spayed Female: 12.00                       Unspayed Female:  $17.00
